We'll explore contemporary Italian art, examining paintings and sculptures. Who are the 'new Caravaggio' and 'new Michelangelo'? We'll investigate the heirs to the ancient masters and their contemporary techniques.
These courses aim to deepen your language knowledge, expand your vocabulary, and equip you to discuss art in Italian. All you need is a genuine interest in art and art history, and a passion for Italian. We'll use video clips, photos, and articles to practice listening, speaking, and reading. Then, we'll delve into idioms, vocabulary, discussions, and grammatical reflections—all inspired by the world of art.
